The man who was shot and killed at North Star Mall on Sunday afternoon has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Adam Glass, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene after 3 p.m. at the mall, located at San Pedro Avenue and Loop 410 on the North Side.

SAPD public information officer Nick Soliz said two gunmen went up to the victim in the barber shop and shot him “in cold blood” just after 3 p.m.
The man, believed to be in his early 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Details are still limited, and the investigation is ongoing, but Soliz said they believe it was a targeted attack. “Although I said it was an active investigation, our victim’s getting a haircut on a Sunday at the mall, and two suspects come in and shoot him in cold blood in the middle of the day,” he said. “I think at this time we have reason to believe it is in fact a targeted situation.” The suspects fled the scene. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate them, Soliz said. Police said at no time was there an active shooter at the mall, and no one else was injured. The mall will be closed for the rest of the day.
