Shweta Khadka became the talk of the town after she tied the wedding knot with Bijayendra Singh Rawat of Dhangadhi on December 7, 2020, at the Gokarna Forest Resort, Kathmandu. Before this, she was married to Shree Krishna Shreshtha.

Shweta has seen many ups and downs in her married life. She could not enjoy the blissful married life which she dreamt of. Shweta and Krishna were head over heels in love with each other. The couple started dating each other once Shweta’s debut film was a super hit at the box office.

After dating for about a couple of years the couple finally announced their wedding in the year 2010. Shweta and Shreshtha dreamt of a happily ever after. But God had different plans. Within a month of their wedding, Shree Krishna Shreshtha died at the age of 47 at Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India. He was diagnosed with bone cancer.

Shweta Khadka was not able to cope with this heavy loss and decided to quit her film career. She has also decided to open a free cancer hospital for people who cannot afford the treatment in Nepal. Her wedding shenanigans with Bijayendra Singh Rawat was a private affair due to the ongoing pandemic conditions all over the world.
