The Mahomes magic appears to have cast a spell upon actor Henry Winkler as well, who has kept it no secret that he is a big fan of his game. Recently, TMZ caught up with the actor and got his thoughts on Patrick Mahomes. Take a look at what Winkler had to say about the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Winkler’s relationship with Mahomes began on the Rich Eisen Show. “It started with a sense of humor on the Rich Eisen Show. Rich Eisen is responsible for the Henry Winkler-Patrick Mahomes friendship.” The actor was joking with the analyst on his show and Eisen happened to show a clip of that to Mahomes when he called on the show.

Winkler goes on to state, “I was joking with Rich and he then played it for Patrick. Mahomes then invited me to the game. Patrick Mahomes is great, he is so improvisational, and there is no drama. I said that if Patrick comes to my house, he will get a chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach with a reduction.” Lucky you Mahomes, that does sound very appetizing.

“I met him on the field and we’re talking like we’re chatting on the street, he runs off turns around and says, ‘I’ll take you up on that offer.’ Patrick Mahomes is destined (to make the Super Bowl.) Patrick Mahomes has what it takes to go all the way for years to come.”

The Henry Winkler and Patrick Mahomes bromance is real, and the actor admitted to gifting the quarterback a gift for his daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes as well. Super Bowl or not, Patrick Mahomes is already a winner because that dinner offer with Henry Winkler and the bond the duo share is a prize on its own.
